| | Desert Notes | Raices Cultura has 20 high school students from across the Coachella Valley (CVHS, Desert Mirage, Indio, NOVA Academy, Shadow Hills, and La Quinta High) running their art installation at Coachella this year. The piece is a giant retro TV called "Living Through the Screen" with student-made animations screening inside it. Ten weeks of work from cell animation to rotoscoping. If you’re going to the festival, check it out.
